One villager accused for involvement with the AA discharged
A villager from Thayet Ta Bin village in Kyauktaw Township has been discharged on 11 July after he had been accused of having connections with the AA.

A villager from Thayet Ta Bin village in Kyauktaw Township has been discharged on 11 July after he had been accused of having connections with the AA.
Maung Chan Aye had been accused under section 17 (1) and (2) of the Unlawful Association Act, but the Kyauktaw township court did not find sufficient evidence to charge him, lawyer U Tun Hla, who is providing legal aid for him, told the DMG.
“After examining all prosecution witnesses, he was found not guilty and discharged,” the lawyer said.
On 28 February, four villagers_two Thayet Ta Bin villagers and two Mahamuni villagers_ were arrested by Kyauktaw Myoma police station. Two of them were released in March this is the third person released from custody.
Only Ko Aye Kyaw Than from Mahamuni village remains in custody and he has been charged under section 17 (1) of Unlawful Association Act, lawyer U Tun Hla said.
Captain Kaung Myat Thu from a military regiment prosecuted them at Kyauktaw township court.
