A bomb explosion occurred this morning near a Tatmadaw convoy traveling on Angumaw-Maungdaw road.

A bomb explosion occurred this morning near a Tatmadaw convoy traveling on Angumaw-Maungdaw road.
The explosion took place between Aungbala and Done Paik villages in Rathedaung Township and the Tatmadaw troops were heading to Maungdaw Township, a local resident from Sin Paik village, anonymously mentioned.
Villagers from nearby areas such as Done Paik and Sin Paik villages are anxious about their safety because of the bomb blast.
The DMG phoned colonel Win Zaw Oo from the Western Command for comment about the explosion, he replied that he had no news about the incident.
“I haven’t received any information about the blast. I’ll find out if there is an explosion or not,” Colonel Win Zaw Oo said.
On 30 July, two mine explosions occurred at a spot between Magyi Chaung and Kala Chaung villages in Rathedaung Township.
