DMG has released its October 2025 Landmine Impact Report, documenting the severe and often unseen toll of landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW) on civilians in Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U, and Ponnagyun townships.
Based on in-depth interviews with 90 survivors and affected families, the report reveals a crisis marked by deaths, life-changing injuries, widespread trauma, collapsing livelihoods, and a dangerous lack of mine risk education.
This report provides essential evidence for policymakers, humanitarian agencies, and mine-action organizations working to protect civilians in Arakan State.
